Wildlife Watch
Youngsters between 8 and 15 get a chance to really enjoy wildlife with a range of fun activities organised by Wildlife Watch. There are Wildlife Watch groups across the county providing young people with opportunities to explore their surroundings and find out more about the natural world. Come and join us!

Become a Wildlife Watch leader or helper
A typical Wildlife Watch leader or helper is someone who enjoys working with children, is enthusiastic and concerned about the environment and enjoys being out of doors. No expert wildlife knowledge is required to start, and volunteers receive support and guidance from our expert staff.
You may like to help an existing group – leaders work in teams, with helpers. This is a good way to find out more about how Wildlife Watch works, and what fun it can be. This can be a springboard for starting your own group in a different area. Alternatively, if there is no group in your area, you can start from scratch.
If you are interested in this, please contact Lynn Victor.
Wildlife Watch in Schools
Schools can join the Wildlife Trust as a Group for £50 a year.
School members receive all the fun items that individuals get plus:
- The option of a free consultancy visit to advise on school grounds.
- Three issues of “Link” – a booklet of themed activities and information.
