Attenborough Holiday Club – Egg Eggstravaganza

Join us for some fun-filled activities at Attenborough Nature Reserve and find out more about our wonderful wildlife. Suitable for children aged 4 and above. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Please note that some activities take place outside so come dressed for the weather! £6 per child, please book in advance. 10.15am – 12.15pm.

Pyrotechnology Workshop

Thursday 13th April

Event Type: Skylarks | Children's Activity | Family Event | Rushcliffe

An afternoon workshop for families at Skylarks Nature Reserve where children can learn about the importance of fire and how to respect it. The group will learn about how our ancestors lit fires and what materials they used. They will make their own charcloth and then have a go at making fire using ancient techniques. 1 - 3 pm. Free, booking required.

Introduction to Bats

Friday 14th April

Event Type: Attenborough | Bat Watch | Guided Walk | Wildlife Talk | Broxtowe

Attenborough is one of the best places in the county to see bats. This evening starts with a fascinating talk, followed by a walk around the reserve using bat detectors. 7 – 10pm. £15 per person including refreshments.
