Attenborough Health Walk

Get active and make some new friends by joining us for a short healthy walk for up to an hour around the beautiful Attenborough Nature Reserve. Suitable for beginners. Please come dressed for the weather and wear stout shoes or boots. No dogs please. Meet at the Nature Centre for a 10am start.

Wild Kids – Watery Wildlife

Come pond dipping and find some amazing freshwater creatures that live under the waves! Suitable for children aged 4 and over. All children must be accompanied by an adult. 1.30pm – 3.30pm. £4 per child. Please book in advance.

Painting the Wild Flowers of Attenborough
Saturday 7th July

Bring along your watercolours for a master class in painting the native flora found in this very special habitat. Tuition in watercolour technique will be given by Nottingham-based Kate Houghton, using demonstration and simple exercises designed to build up the speed and accuracy needed for fieldwork. Suitable for adults at all levels including beginners. 10am – 1pm. £10 per person.

Members-only Bat Watch
Saturday 7th July
Event Type: Attenborough | Bat Watch
Join Paul Stone from South Notts Bat Group for an illustrated talk, a night-time walk around Attenborough Nature Reserve with bat detectors, and a chance to get close to a rescue bat. Early booking is recommended as these events are very popular. Free event. 8.30pm – 11.30pm (weather dependent).

Wildlife Art at Attenborough
