Attenborough visitors - Time left to have your say!
Wednesday 20th April
Over 580 people have so far taken part in a survey, providing their views on our plans for an exciting new phase of developments at Attenborough Nature Reserve – if you haven’t yet taken part don’t worry as there is still time to have your say. To provide your views simply take in part in our online survey which will remain open until the 6th May.
Many of our members and supporters will be aware that Attenborough Nature Reserve provides a relaxing, wildlife rich green space on the outskirts of Nottingham, linked to an award winning Nature Centre. What you may not be aware of is the fact that the Reserve has provided a lasting link between wildlife, people and heritage for nearly 50 years, being opened by David Attenborough back in 1966.
In 2005 the iconic Attenborough Nature Centre was opened and since then both wildlife enthusiasts and visitors have enjoyed the award winning combination of wildlife reserve and nature centre, supported through a network of volunteers undertaking conservation management work, helping visitors and supporting the work of the Centre.
We are now working on plans for an exciting new phase of developments for the Reserve, focusing on key aspects that will help both broaden and sustain its appeal over the next 3 years. Please take the opportunity to provide your views on these suggested developments by taking part in our online survey.
We very much look forward to hearing your views – remember responses by 6th May please!
