Give it some welly!

We're holding an afternoon of Welly Wanging for Wildlife in Wollaton Park on Saturday 17th September to help raise funds to protect wildlife across the county.
This promises to be a fun-packed afternoon with prizes awarded for different age categories for the longest throws, as well as a Workmates Team event with teams competing for the champion’s Golden Welly Trophy!
There will also be lots of activities for children and their families, brought to you by our Wildlife in the City team.
So why not come along and see how far you can throw a welly (no experience necessary; wellies provided!)
The event starts at 1pm and competitors and sightseers are invited to meet on the lawn in front of Wollaton Hall.
