Local Businesses support Cow Appeal

Local businesses turned out in force last week to support Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust’s Cow Appeal, at the Wildlife Guardians Quiz Night held at the Poppy & Pint pub in Lady Bay.
The night, which was co hosted by Novozymes and Castle Rock brewery, raised a generous £1,000 for the appeal.
The winning team won the chance to name one of the new cows and decided on VIV. Over the coming weeks and months you may catch sight of Viv and her new friends, as they graze Wildlife Trust nature reserves along the river Trent and at the Idle Valley Nature Reserve near Retford.
