New City Events Guides
Wednesday 5th January
Two brand new Events Guides are now available, focusing specifically on activities in Nottingham city, as part of our new Wildlife in the City Project
Wildlife in the City is our brand new 3 year initiative celebrating the green spaces of Nottingham city, in partnership with Nottingham City Council. We’re all about getting out & discovering Nottingham city’s parks & green spaces, as well as improving your experience of nature on your doorstep.
With a huge range of FREE activities in Aspley, Bulwell & Broxtowe Estate, as well as Clifton, Sneinton and The Meadows - there’s something for everyone.
Between January and June 2011, why not join in our new range of events, including:
WildFAMILIES - Fun, free, wildlife-themed days for the whole family on our nature sites across the city.
WildDAYS - Help improve your local wildlife site! Learn some new skills, get healthier & meet likeminded people at these practical conservation sessions, suitable for everyone.
WildRANGERS - Are you aged 10-17? Do you like the outdoors? WildRANGERS is a new group for young people. Get outside, help look after the site, learn about the environment & how to build shelters, woodland crafts & MORE!
WildTALKS - Wildlife in the City will be visiting your local library! Discover more about urban wildlife at our series of WildTALKS.
WildCRAFTS - Also at your local library: bring the kids to our crafts sessions, for a chance to make fun wildlife fingerpuppets.
