Runaway success

Staff and volunteers would like to say a huge thank you to Wildlife Trust member Rachel Stubbington who recently ran the Robin Hood Marathon in order to raise funds for Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust.

Rachel ran the whole marathon distance (26.2 miles) at September’s event and recorded a fantastic time of 3 hours and 51 minutes! Rachel’s fundraising efforts went extremely well too as she passed her tough fundraising target making a final donation to the charity of £360.

Thank you to everyone who sponsored Rachel on her way. The funds raised will contribute to improvement on the Nature Reserves and will provide a much needed boost to our other fundraising efforts to protect wildlife across the county.

This year has been a fantastic year for people supporting the Wildlife Trust and we’re overjoyed that people like Rachel keep coming forward to help us with fundraising. If you would like to help out in any way then please do get in touch as every pound raised make a big difference to our work.

If you would like to find out more about fundraising for us, please get in touch with our friendly Development Team, who will be very happy to discuss ways you could help us.
