The Next Five Years

The Trust’s Chief Executive, Rob Fitzsimons, will talk about the exciting plans for the Trust over the next few years at this meeting of the Retford Local Group. 7.30pm in Goodwin Hall, Chancery Lane, Retford. £2 including refreshments.

Beeston Wildlife Group Walk

Winter Tree Identification

Saturday 13th February

Event Type: Attenborough | Training Course | Broxtowe

Learn how to identify Britain’s trees without using leaves or flowers. You’ll gain the skills you need to recognise Britain’s trees by using just twigs and bark. Spend the morning in the classroom and then put your new skills into practise on the Reserve in the afternoon. £20 per person. Includes refreshments and lunch.

Spring Birds and Nest Box Weekend

Come along to Idle Valley and find out more about spring birds and nest boxes. Drop-in activities and displays suitable for all ages. Continues on 14 February. 11am – 3pm each day.

Wild Kids Idle Valley

An active outdoor session great for any wild child who enjoys exploring nature. This month is all about spring birds and nest boxes. For children aged 5 and above, who must be accompanied by an adult. Drop in between 11am - 12 noon and 1 – 2pm. £4 per child. Don’t forget your wellies!
