Attenborough Forest School

Friday 22nd September

Have fun and learn in the woods with our Forest School Group for families who home educate. Mud play, campfires, woodland crafts, minibeast hunts and more to encourage exploration, confidence, imagination and creativity. For children aged 5 to 11 years but younger siblings welcome. Beeston Wildlife Group Walk

Bat Identification and Surveying

Saturday 23rd September

This evening course covers the ecology, conservation and identification of UK bats. After a light meal you’ll cover the surveying and monitoring of bats before heading out for an evening walk to put your new skills into practice. 4-10pm, £35. Wild Play Attenborough

Wild Tots Idle Valley

Get your little one out in the great outdoors. Messy play and sensory activities for under 5s all inspired by a wildlife-focused story book. 10.30-11.30am, £4.50 per child. Outdoor clothing is essential. Parents and guardians are required to stay with their children. Booking required.
