Inspire your community to be wilder
Are you part of a local group that wants to support wildlife, create greener spaces, or simply learn more about nature in Nottinghamshire? Whether you're just getting started or looking for fresh ideas, our Community Talk Volunteers and selected members of staff are here to help.

We offer engaging talks for community groups, clubs, and organisations looking to take action for wildlife and enhance green spaces for people and nature. Whether you're interested in wildlife gardening, rewilding, or learning more about our work across Nottinghamshire, we can provide a talk that meets your needs.
Please note: talks are designed for adult audiences and unfortunately, we are unable to support requests from schools at this time.
What we offer
Our talks are designed to be accessible and inspiring – no prior knowledge required. Talks are delivered by our trained volunteers and staff, and you can choose from a selection of topics:
-
Wildlife Gardening for beginners – perfect for anyone wanting practical advice on making outdoor spaces better for wildlife.
-
Wilder Nottinghamshire Network – learn how local people are working together to make more space for nature.
-
60 Years of a Wilder Nottinghamshire – a look back at our work and how the county’s wildlife has changed over time.
