The British Naturalists’ Association

Thursday 12th April

Attenborough Forest School

A Forest School session especially for Home Schoolers aged between 5 and 11. Join us for a seasonal take on den building, fire lighting and cooking, bushcraft, wildlife discovery and much more. An Introduction to Bats

Friday 13th April

Attenborough is one of the best places in the country to see bats. This evening starts with a fascinating talk, followed by a walk around the reserve using bat detectors. 7pm-10pm, £15. Green Rangers Attenborough

Green Rangers and the Keeping it Wild Youth team join forces and are taking over Attenborough Nature Reserve for the day! Why not come along and get involved - meet new people, learn something new, whilst having fun too. Open to 13- 19 year olds - look out for more sessions at Skylarks Nature Reserve as well. 11am-1pm. Free of charge, but booking essential.

Idle Valley Spring Fair

Join us for a springtime celebration of wildlife at our Idle Valley Nature Reserve. Enjoy guided walks and family activities and learn about opportunities to help us shape the future of this amazing wildlife haven. Our popular café will also be serving delicious home-made snacks, lunches and cakes throughout the day. Free of charge.
