Spring has Sprung – at Attenborough!

Thursday 12th April

Event Type: Attenborough | Children's Activity

Visit Attenborough Nature Centre and join us for some fun games and activities about the wonders of spring. Suitable for children aged 2 and above. Please note that some activities will take place outside so come dressed for the weather. Drop in between 10.15am and 12.15pm. £3 per child. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Members-only Visit to See our New Lambs!

Thursday 12th April

Event Type: Lambing

Members can handle and feed very young Hebridean lambs, and may even see some being born! Agnes Kiemel, the Wildlife Trust’s shepherd, will tell you about our flock of Hebridean sheep and how they help with conservation. Meet at Creswell, North Notts at 10am. Members only – booking required.

Wild Snappers

Friday 13th April

Event Type: Attenborough | Children's Activity

Bring your digital camera along to Attenborough Nature Reserve and with the help of a keen amateur wildlife photographer capture some of its amazing sights. 10.15am – 12.15pm. This session is suitable for children aged 8 and over. Please book in advance as places are limited. £5 per child. £1 discount for more than 1 child per party.

Easter Trail at Idle Valley

Friday 13th April

Event Type: Idle Valley | Family Event

Can you find the hidden eggs? This self-led trail is a chance for the whole family to enjoy exploring the Reserve at your own pace whilst hunting for the hidden Easter clues. From 10.30am. Suggested donation £3 per person.

Birdwatching Walk

Sunday 15th April

Event Type: Idle Valley | Guided Walk

Join Lound Bird Club for a walk around Idle Valley Nature Reserve to see which birds you can spot. 10.30am to 11.30am. Meet at the Rural Learning Centre. No charge.
