Monday 16th April

Event Type: Wildlife Talk

Join the Beeston Wildlife Group for an insight into Martin Butler’s travels down under, including crocodiles, spiders, kangaroos, whales and a host of tropical Australian birds. This Keith Corbett Memorial Talk will be preceded by a (brief) Annual General Meeting. £2 including refreshments. 7.30pm - 9.30pm. Trent Vale Infants School, Trent Road, Beeston Rylands.

Portland Park Health Walk

Monday 16th April

Event Type: Health Walk

Get active and make some new friends by joining us for a short healthy walk starting from Portland Park, Kirkby-in-Ashfield. The walk will last up to an hour and is suitable for all levels. No need to book. Please come dressed for the weather and wear stout shoes or boots. Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome. Meet at 10am at the Visitor Centre, Lindley’s Lane.

Bat Walk

Event Type: Bat Watch

Join us for an evening walk looking for bats along the Green Line in West Bridgford. Meet at the entrance to the Green Line on Boundary Road (opposite the Leisure Centre) at 7.45pm. Please book in advance.

Gedling Group AGM and Talk

Thursday 19th April

Event Type: Wildlife Talk

The Gedling Local Group invite you to their AGM which will be followed by a talk from Charles Langtree, the Trust’s Head of Estate Management & Development, about local nature reserves. £2 including refreshments. 7.30pm at St. Helen’s Old Church Hall, Main Street, Burton Joyce.
