Scything Course

Saturday 11th September

Learn this time-honoured technique from the country’s best. Former national scything champion and local craftsman Ray Lister will teach the technique of the Austrian scythe - a tool so light a child could use it! 10am – 3pm. £40 per person. Meet at the craftsmen sheds in Treswell Wood. Please bring packed lunch; tea and coffee provided. Booking essential.

Wild Kids

Saturday 11th September

Drop in to our wildlife club to find out about nature on your patch. Suitable for children aged 4 and above. All children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult. £3 per child. 1.30pm - 3.30pm at Attenborough Nature Centre.

Health Walk

Saturday 11th September

Join us for a longer healthy walk from Attenborough Nature Centre. The full circuit will be 5 miles in length and will take at least 2 hours. Suitable for all, but no dogs please. Please come dressed for the weather with good footwear. 10.00am start.
