The Giant Balsam Off!

Saturday 29th July

Event Type: Children's Activity | Family Event | Nottingham

Join the Keeping It Wild youth team and see who can pull up the largest bunch of invasive Himalayan balsam at this free event at Clifton Woods. 10.30am-2.30pm. Meet at Fox Covert Lane Clifton—use postcode NG11 8NQ then carry on past Burrows Farm and a staff member will assist you with parking on the road side.

Early Medieval Trinkets

Saturday 29th July

Event Type: Skylarks | Family Event | Rushcliffe

Join us at Skylarks and have a go at a variety of Anglo Saxon and Viking crafts and take away trinkets of your own creation. Free session, drop in between midday and 3 pm.

Attenborough Holiday Club – Dazzling Dinosaurs

Tuesday 1st August

Join us for some fun-filled activities at Attenborough Nature Reserve and discover the wildlife that used to live at Attenborough. Suitable for children aged 4 and above. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Please book in advance and come dressed for the weather! 10.15am – 12.15pm. £6 per child. Wild Woodlands

Thursday 3rd August

Event Type: Idle Valley | Children's Activity | Bassetlaw

Join us for an exciting day of activities in our woods at Idle Valley. You will learn how to light fires safely, build your own shelters and learn bushcraft skills. You will also get a chance to explore the wildlife in a woodland setting. For children aged 8-14, 10.30am-2.00pm, £12. Outdoor clothing and a packed lunch are essential. Parents and guardians are not required to attend. Booking required.
