Nottingham Lecturer running wild!
Wednesday 7th September
Marathon runner Rachel needs your support!
Rachel Stubbington - a former Wildlife Trust volunteer, now a lecturer in ecology at Nottingham Trent University - is in final training to run the Robin Hood Marathon this Sunday 11th September.
Her fantastic efforts won’t be just for fun, but will also be to raise funds in aid of Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust.
Motivated by her memories of volunteering on the reserves, and the kick start that the volunteering gave to her career. Rachel is hoping to raise around £350 for the charity’s ongoing wildlife conservation work.
We are obviously delighted that Rachel has chosen to raise funds for the Wildlife Trust and thank everyone who has sponsored her run. For the rest of us not up to running the marathon why not go down on Sunday and cheer on Rachel and the other thousands of runners or consider supporting her efforts and the Wildlife Trust by visiting Rachel’s fundraising page and making a contribution.
Donation can be made by either visiting Rachel’s online
Virgin Money Giving page or by sending donations using the address below.
