Public Meeting: Fairham Brook Nature Reserve

Tuesday 14th October

Public Meeting: Fairham Brook Nature Reserve

Members of the public can have their say on the future of Fairham Brook Nature Reserve at a meeting next month.

Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust wants to hear opinions on the management of the site to inform its new five-year management plan.

The meeting, at Clifton Cornerstone, will give residents the chance to discuss any issues about the reserve and give their views on its future.

The evening will include presentations from local resident Malcolm Varney, county botanical recorder Dave Wood, Nottingham Trent University principal lecturer Dr Chris Terrell-Nield, Kevin Helmsley from South Notts Bird Ringing Group, and Charles Langtree, head of estate management and development, who will talk about the Wildlife Trust’s plans for the future of Fairham Brook.

The presentations will be followed by a question and answer session, chaired by Councillor Andrew Price.

The meeting will take place in community rooms A and B at Clifton Cornerstone, Southchurch Drive, from 7pm prompt on November 10.

Booking is essential as space is limited. To book, or for more information, contact Ruth Testa, Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust’s Clifton Outreach Officer, on 0115 958 8242, or email (JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).
