Wildlife Extravaganza at Idle Valley Nature Reserve – causing a spiky sensation on Saturday 28th May!
Due to popular demand the Wildlife Extravaganza event is back at Idle Valley - the theme this year is mammals in our gardens, including our favourite prickly pal the hedgehog. The event is designed for the whole family to find out fascinating facts about our only mammal in the UK that has spines – (up to 6,000 of them!), and what we can do to help them survive our harsh winters.

Admission to this event is just £10 which includes lunch and the hedgehog box that you will build and take home with you.

The Idle Valley Nature Reserve now has car parking facilities and Reception Facilities open to the public 7 days a week. The Café is open at weekends 11:30 to 2:30pm and a varied program of courses, events and activities are scheduled for the rest of the year.
