We’re on YouTube!

Our exciting YouTube video page is currently up and running and there are already plenty of videos to watch to get you involved in one of our campaigns and visiting a nature reserve in your area.

The videos are a great way to find out what's going on, with info about some of our current campaigns, interviews with our staff and members, and provides a showcase for some of our nature reserves.

We have just uploaded 3 brand new videos! Check them out below...

The Great Farndon Hut Vote

This video tells the story of the Farndon Willow Holt Hut used by one of our childrens clubs, that was sadly burnt down a year ago, but all is not lost...Our Farndon Wildlife Watch Group have now been shortlisted in a competition run by Natwest and this YouTube video is all about their plight - now featured on the Natwest Community Fund website. We want people to simply click and vote for the proposal and the group could get £6000 for a new hut. You can find out about how you can get involved via the link below.

How important is wildlife to you?

In this video, we asked members of the public ""how important is wildlife to you?" It is an interesting insight into what members of the public think and it features some key information about the Trust and how you can get involved. It also makes you think why you might want to become a member, so take a look now by clicking the link below.

Mini Meadows

With the UK having lost over 98% of its wildflower meadows since the 1930s, there is urgent need to address this problem and we are doing just that. The video features a fascinating look at the importance of wildflower meadows and the habitats they provide for a large number of our native plants, insects, birds and mammal species. There is also information on where to get hold of free seed packets to plant your own mini meadow and also advice on the best time of year to do this, so it’s well worth a watch! Use the link below to watch the video. There will be more video updates soon, so keep an eye out on our website news page or visit our YouTube page directly by using this link:
