About the event

Join invertebrate expert Dave Goddard on a Bumblebee ID course at Attenborough Nature Reserve. Attenborough Nature Reserve is full of wild flowers which attract an array of bumblebee species including Red Tailed and Common Carder bumblebees.

This course will begin in the conference room at Attenborough Nature Centre for an introductory session on bumblebees. After lunch Dave will lead a guided walk out onto the reserve to identify bumblebees in the field. Participants of all abilities are welcome – from complete beginners to those looking to expand their knowledge.

The course includes refreshments and a buffet lunch. All our food is made fresh on the premises using locally sourced ingredients where possible. Our cakes and sweet treats are supplied by two independent, local businesses – Beeston Brownies and Homemade Café.

With 48hrs notice, we can cater for most dietary and allergy needs. Please get in touch using the contact form if you have any questions or to inform us of any specific requirements/requests.
