Wildflower Evening

Wednesday 26th July

Event Type: Guided Walk | Nottingham

Spend a gentle evening spent exploring the wild flowers and botany of the green spaces across the Mapperley/Sherwood area of town – details tbc. No botanical experience required, just an interest! 6 – 8 pm.

Wild Tots Idle Valley

Thursday 27th July

Event Type: Idle Valley | Children's Activity | Family Event | Bassetlaw

Get your little one out in the great outdoors. Messy play and sensory activities for under 5s all inspired by a wildlife-focused story book. 10.30-11.30am, £4.50 per child. Outdoor clothing is essential. Parents and guardians are required to stay with their children. Booking required.

Nature Discovery Day

Thursday 27th July

Event Type: Skylarks | Children's Activity | Family Event | Rushcliffe

Come and join us down at Skylarks and have lots of fun pond dipping, sweep netting and tree beating, and have a closer look at the wildlife you will find. Free of charge, but booking essential. 10 am – 12 noon.

The Giant Balsam Off!

Saturday 29th July

Event Type: Children's Activity | Family Event | Nottingham

Join the Keeping It Wild youth team and see who can pull up the largest bunch of invasive Himalayan balsam at this free event at Clifton Woods. 10.30am-2.30pm. Meet at Fox Covert Lane Clifton—use postcode NG11 8NQ then carry on past Burrows Farm and a staff member will assist you with parking on the road side.

Early Medieval Trinkets
