Join us and the Keeping It Wild team on Sneinton Market Square and celebrate our wonderful wildlife! Learn more about what you can do at home for wildlife on your doorstep. A free event for all ages. There will be music, live art and crafts as well as food and drink. 3.00pm – 9.00pm.

Saturday 6th May
Meet the City Local Group for an exploration of parks, nature reserves, and open spaces across the Top Valley area of Nottingham – a chance to explore the ‘hidden green’ of Nottingham. Meet 10.30 am at Southglade Leisure Centre car park for a 3 – 4 hour walk.
Wildlife Pub Club & City Group AGM
Monday 8th May
Join members of the City Local Group committee for an informal after-work chat about conservation and wildlife. This meeting will include our AGM and an optional walk nearby straight after. 5.30 – 7.30 pm at the Bell Inn, Angel Row, Nottingham.
Sunday 11th June
Explore the wildlife and landscape of the Victoria Embankment with the City Local Group. If time permits we will also visit nearby Iremongers Pond. Meet at 10.30 am at the Nottingham War Memorial. Suitable for people using wheelchairs or with pushchairs - please contact to discuss.
Wednesday 21st June
Spend a gentle evening exploring the wild flowers and botany of the King’s Meadow Nature Reserve, known for its orchids. No botanical experience required, just an interest! 6 – 8 pm. Meet at the entrance to Birdcage Walk, off Lenton Lane.
