Pyrotechnology Workshop

An afternoon workshop for families at Skylarks Nature Reserve where children can learn about the importance of fire and how to respect it. The group will learn about how our ancestors lit fires and what materials they used. They will make their own charcloth and then have a go at making fire using ancient techniques. 1 - 3 pm. Free, booking required.

This talk about finding Nottinghamshire’s bats will be given by Michael Walker (Notts. Bat Group). It will follow the South Notts. Local Group’s brief AGM. 7.30pm in Room 5, West Bridgford Methodist Church, (junction of Patrick Road and Musters Road), West Bridgford, NG2 7PQ. Admission free.

Bunny Wood Open Day

Join us for this special day, enjoy the spring wild flowers and learn about the wood’s history and management. Activities for all ages. From 10.30am to 4pm with guided walks at 11am and 2pm. Car park on the left of the A60 climbing out of Bunny.
