Green Rangers Skylarks

Are you aged 13-19 years old, like being outdoors and keeping active? If so, then join our Green Rangers and help us look after our Skylarks Nature Reserve! Our varied programme includes tree coppicing, scrub clearance, bird box making, and lots more. Booking essential. 11am-1pm, free of charge. Wild Flowers and Waterways

Thursday 5th October

Come along and enjoy this talk by Mary Matts with the South Notts Local Group on a journey through waterway locations looking at the wild flowers, plants and trees throughout the seasons. Learn about their medicinal and culinary uses, and associated myths and legends. 7.30pm in Room 5, West Bridgford Methodist Church, (junction of Patrick Road and Musters Road). The Mysterious World of Plant Galls

Join the South Notts Local Group and Jerry Clough for a walk covering the Arboretum, riverbank and cemetery in search of galls. Meet 2pm at the Sutton Bonington sports complex (opposite the Nottm.
