In memory of a loved one.
Honour, remember or celebrate the life of a loved one through a donation in memory, or ask friends and family to make a donation in lieu of flowers to provide a lasting memorial.
A Gift In Memory
A Gift in Memory of a loved one gives the opportunity to make a real difference in their name, and can mean a great deal at a time of sadness.
It can be arranged directly through the Wildlife Trust or the Funeral Director. We can also provide gift aid envelopes for the funeral service which means for every pound donated we can reclaim 25p from HM Revenue & Customs at no extra cost to the tax paying donor.
For more information, please contact Rachel or call on 0115 958 8242.
Create an In Memory page on JustGiving
Raising money in someone’s memory is a special way to celebrate their life. Often this involved asking relatives and friends to make a donation instead of giving flowers.
You can create an In Memory page on JustGiving, where you can tell the story of the person you’re remembering (using words, photos and video) and explain why you’re raising money in their memory.
Your friend’s and family can give to your page easily, safely and securely, wherever and whenever they want to. Together you can create a lasting tribute in memory of your loved one. That’s exactly what Naomi Strachan’s family did and were happy for us to share their experience here.

Memorial Products on Reserves
If you would like a more bespoke approach then some of our reserves can host a specific item. To discuss this further, please contact Rachel or call on 0115 958 8242.
You can also support our work to provide a haven for wildlife with a memorial plaque in the Attenborough Nature Centre garden, the Willow Peninsula, which is situated at the back of the Centre.
Attenborough Nature Centre’s conference room can also be hired out for private functions in the day time with catering. For more information please check here.
Book of Remembrance
Over the years we have had a great deal of support from those who valued wildlife locally. Those friends and family members who took up the offer to have a loved one included are fondly remembered in our book of remembrance which can be viewed either at our Nottingham office in person or online here.
