About the event

Rewilding is a very hot subject now, with so many new wild spaces appearing, so we are sure it will be a very exciting session indeed. We plan to talk a bit about what rewilding really is, what's happening and where you can all enjoy a smattering of it in Nottinghamshire and beyond. We will be interested if there are any wild creatures that you think should be reintroduced here. We will also be talking about some of the wild animals, birds and, indeed other flora and fauna that  is or has been reintroduced here. And there will be a quiz.

After which, we will have a look at Rushcliffe Country Park and you can point out where rewilding is in evidence. Its likely to be wet on the day and soggy, so it is advisable to bring/wear wellies or stout boots, rainwear (warm), hats, gloves, etc.

Wildlife Watch groups offer a fun, wild and fantastic time for kids aged 8-12, and we have groups which meet up every month across the county.

Members and non-members welcome. Under-8's to be accompanied by an adult. Please come dressed for the weather!
