About the event

The Group's Annual General Meeting will be held online, starting at 7:00 pm.

The meeting will last about 20 minutes, and will be followed by a talk by Scott Froggatt, University of Nottingham Conservation and Nature Society (ConSoc).

The talk 'ConSoc: The Green-Thumbed Fledglings' is about the work of a group of students who are interested in nature and who love to get outside. They do two sessions every week, one in their community garden, and the other for volunteering, which usually involve helping upkeep the university campus, or collaborating with local groups like Nottingham Green Guardians.

Scott has been part of ConSoc for two years, and president for 1½. He says "It's a privilege to lead a group of people who want to do good in the world of nature conservation. I am especially interested in bird conservation."

The talk is free, and all are welcome to join us.
