About the event

This gentle, reflective session invites you to observe your surroundings with fresh eyes and express your experience through creative writing.

Guided by an experienced volunteer , you’ll explore simple techniques to spark inspiration from the sights, sounds, and sensations of nature.

No prior writing experience needed — just an open mind, a love for the outdoors, and a willingness to notice the beauty in the small things. Perfect for anyone looking to connect more deeply with both nature and their inner voice.

Please bring a notepad and pen if you have one spare.

We will meet in the café at Idle Valley between 12:45 a prompt start at 1pm.

The session will be outside, so please wear weather-appropriate clothing. Any problems please ask any member of staff or ask for Caroline. Look forward to meeting you all and enjoying a relaxing session in nature together.
