Join us to explore the spectacular birdlife of southern Portugal in this illustrated birding talk with Dan Rouse. From coastal wetlands, cork-tree landscapes to rugged hills and saltmarshes, and even gorgeous plains, we will explore the remarkable variety of resident and migrant species during a (albeit young-ish) lifetime of witnessing the joys that Portugal has to offer.
Dan Rouse is an author, ornithologist and educator from Swansea but now residing in Durham. She has published books with DK Books, and Bloomsbury, and presented pieces for BBC Countryfile, S4C and regularly featured on BBC Radio Wales/Radio Cymru. Dan has a passion for wildlife and birding since a young age and hopes to inspire others to pay more attention to our avian-friends.
