Are you someone who enjoys working in a fun, demanding and fast-paced environment? Do you love working with people who are passionate about what they do and always put the customer first?

As a Catering Assistant at our Idle Valley Rural Learning Centre cafe, you’ll work with a team of staff who are committed to producing and delivering great food and drink in a wonderful natural setting.

You’ll need to have experience of working in a busy catering environment, and knowledge of food prep and delivery to a wide range of customers. A working knowledge of current Food Hygiene and Environmental Health legislation would be really useful too.

This role is 30 hours per week working Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday,  9am -3pm. 

There will be opportunities for overtime, and some elements of shift leading and duty management which will attract premiums when required.
