About the event

Sunday 5th May is International Dawn Chorus Day and is the best time of year to hear the cacophony of bird calls as they defend their territories and attract mates. This walk will be suitable for families and beginners to bird watching and will introduce the basics of bird calls and point out signs for identifying common wildlife on the reserve.

Binocular hire is included in the cost of your ticket. The walk will last approximately 2 hours, please wear layers and suitable footwear. The walk will be suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs. The event will end in the centre café with buffet style breakfast cobs.

If you're interested in a more advanced birdwatching experience, please consider our other Dawn Chorus event on the same morning!
