About the event

Join the Wilder Trent team for an 8 mile linear walk along the River Trent, starting at Nottingham train station and ending at Attenborough Nature Reserve.

Through the walk the team will share stories and information about the work carried out through the Thriving in a Wilder Trent project, highlighting how nature will benefit, as well as point out interesting species and local history along the way. The walk will encompass sections of the Notts-Beeston Canal as well as the river, finishing at Attenborough Nature Centre for a buffet lunch followed by a train ride back to Nottingham city centre. Lunch and train fare included in the ticket price.

We will meet at 8:45am and start the walk at 9am, we anticipate arriving at Attenborough Nature Centre for 1.

There will be plenty of opportunities on the walk to have comfort breaks.
