Attenborough Nature Centre will be hosting an exhibition of the art of Jane Rafter in the conference room on 16th November 2025.

About the artist

Jane Rafter is a Nottingham-based artist known for her dreamy, light-filled landscape oil paintings. A graduate of De Montfort University, she spent 14 years in the design industry before devoting herself fully to painting in 2007. Her work has been exhibited in galleries, public spaces and private collections both in the UK and internationally. 

Guided by a deep fascination with light and atmosphere, Jane captures moments of stillness and serenity through the fluid movement of oil paint. Her tranquil, painterly style evokes a quiet connection to nature and a sense of calm that lingers long after the viewer has stepped away.
