About the event

This gentle workshop invites participants to wander, observe, and translate their outdoor experiences into poetic expression. Through guided prompts, shared readings, and quiet writing time, you'll explore how language can capture the textures, sounds, and small wonders of the landscape. No prior poetry experience is needed—just an openness to noticing, imagining, and letting nature shape your words.

Please bring a notepad and pen if you have one spare. We will meet in the café at Idle Valley between 12-12:10 for a prompt start at 12:15. The session will be outside, so please wear warm clothing. Any problems please ask any member of staff for Harri. Looking forward to meeting you all and enjoying a relaxing session in nature together.
