Make A Will Today

We have two partnerships that enable our supporters to write their Wills for free - without any obligations whatsoever. In each case, we are paying a discretionary rate for a limited number of simple wills to be written. If matters are more complex, you will need to pay for any additional fees.

MakeAWillOnline.co.uk

We’ve partnered with Make a Will Online to offer a simple, secure way for our supporters to create a solicitor-checked Will from the comfort of their own home. The process is easy to follow and every Will is reviewed by a fully qualified solicitor to ensure it is legally sound. If you have any legal questions along the way, you can ask for professional guidance as part of the service. Your Will also benefits from free access to Capacity Vault, which helps protect your wishes against future challenges.

Rothera Bray is our trusted partner for wills

Rothera Bray Solicitors is our trusted partner to deliver Wills to our supporters. In the hope that you would leave a legacy to Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust in your Will, we are funding the cost of a simple Will when written by Rothera Bray, and a face-to-face meeting with a solicitor at their offices.

Should you require a mirror will (for example a will for a couple) or more complex will, then there would be an additional fee to pay by members.

Having a valid will allows you to ensure that your estate is distributed in accordance with your wishes. It removes any doubt as to what happens to your property, money and other assets and gives your loved ones peace of mind when they are processing their grief.

Rothera Bray have expertise in a range of wills, trust and probate, services, providing tailored, clear and friendly advice to clients in any of our 8 offices across Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire and Derbyshire. Their additional services include:

When to speak to a solicitor in person

Whether you choose to make a free will online or with a solicitor, please note that only simple Wills are covered by these services.

If you have a complex estate or a worry due to medication or a dementia-related illness, we would always suggest visiting a solicitor in person.

You could use The National Free Wills Network and pay for any additional services, use your own solicitor if you already have one, or find another local solicitor via the Law Society website.

Please ensure your solicitor uses our full details

Your privacy and your choice

When you make a Will online, certain information may be collected, such as when a Will is created, the type of gift included, and basic personal details like your name, year of birth, email address and postal address. Where you give consent, this allows us to thank you and keep in touch in a way that feels right for you. We also understand that some supporters prefer to leave a gift entirely confidentially, without notifying us. This option is always available to you by using this link.

However you choose to remember Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust, please know that we are deeply grateful for your support and the future it helps to protect.
