About the event

Have you ever wondered which birds are singing around you? Join us for a informative guided walk and discover the wonderful world of bird identification and their songs.

Perfect for beginners, this walk will introduce you to some of our most common birds and teach you simple tips to help identify them by their songs and calls. From the melodic notes of a blackbird to the cheerful chatter of robins and wrens, you'll learn how to tune into nature and recognise the birds around you.

Led by an experienced guide, we'll explore the reserve at a leisurely pace, stopping regularly to listen, observe and discuss the sounds we hear. No previous experience is needed, just bring your curiosity and a love of wildlife!

Whether you're completely new to birdwatching or looking to build your confidence in identifying birds, this walk is the perfect introduction to that. Binoculars and ID guides are provided.
