About the event

This event is part of our wider August Wild Weekend event at Attenborough Nature Reserve.

Led by local experts, this 2 hour walk will give you the opportunity to explore Attenborough Nature Reserve and discover some of its residents you can't see during the day. You'll learn how to use bat detectors and use them to identify some of the species onsite such as Common Pipistrelle and Daubenton's Bat. Badgers are shy, so sightings are rare, but you will learn how to spot the signs they leave behind, including litrines, prints, runs and feeding areas.

A unique chance to explore their habitat and gain a real insight into these elusive animals. This event is suitable for ages 12 and over.
