About the event

This event is part of our wider September Wild Weekend event at Attenborough Nature Reserve.

Led by local experts, this 2-hour walk will give you the opportunity to explore Attenborough Nature Reserve after dark and discover some of its nocturnal residents. You’ll learn how to use bat detectors to listen for and identify some of the bat species found at the reserve, including Common Pipistrelle and Daubenton’s Bat. Along the way, your guides will share fascinating facts about these incredible animals, their behaviour and the important role they play in the ecosystem.
