About the event

This event is part of our wider September Wild Weekend event at Attenborough Nature Reserve.

Do you want to learn more about our native trees and the wonderful array of seeds, nuts and berries they produce in the autumn? Join our expert guide Poppy (Wild and Wonder Notts) as she takes you on a relaxing, wildlife-rich walk where she will share a variety of tips and tricks to help you confidently identify the wide variety of tree species found in Attenborough’s autumnal landscape.

Nature ID walks are immersive, informative and mindful experience. You will be given the opportunity to learn about the plethora of species around us and explore their history, uses and folklore.

This event takes place outside, please dress appropriately and expect to walk up to 2 miles on a mixture of uneven grass, earth and smoother tarmac surfaces.
