About the event

The Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust are pleased to announce they are hosting the Nottingham Optics Fair - at Attenborough Nature Reserve on Saturday 18th May & Sunday 19 May 2024 -  10am-5pm

This is an exciting collaboration with a number of optics brands who will be hosting their own stands to give advice and demonstrate their range of optical products.  

Where better to have the opportunity of trying out a pair of binoculars, spotting scope or Digital Thermal Imaging Camera than Attenborough Nature Reserve, just a short distance from Nottingham.

Brands attending the fair are:

• Swarovski
• Zeiss
• Hawke Optics
• Kowa
• Leica

The event will also include:

• FREE Guided walks around Attenborough Nature Reserve (pre-booking may be required)
• Children's activities - more information to follow
• 'Guide in a Hide' - there will be guides in each of the hides offering information and advice on the birds & wildlife that can be seen – supported by the local wildlife groups
• Attenborough Nature Reserve café will be open from 08:30 - 18:00 offering a menu of teas, coffees, hot and cold food, cakes, snacks and ice-creams
• Attenborough Nature Reserve retail shop will also be available from 08:30 - 18:00 - offering a lovely selection of gifts, books, cards, local beers, wines, children’s games and toys and lots more...
• Ice Cream Pod 10am-6pm- will be serving ice-creams, cold drinks etc

Car parking charge per vehicle will be £5.00 - including Blue Badge holders
