About the Artist
Lisa Norman is a Chilwell based artist who creates unique artwork heavily influenced by nature and features vibrant florals, local landscapes and animals. Works are created in a variety of media including pastel, ink and scratchboard.
Scratchboard is an art medium and technique where a dark ink layer is scratched away to reveal a lighter clay layer beneath. The process involves using sharp tools, like tattoo needles and knives to carve into the surface of the board. While traditionally black and white, scratchboard art can also be coloured using watercolours or other inks.
Lisa is a member of the International Society of Scratchboard Artists, The Nottingham Society of Artists and the Association of Animal Artists.
