Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust, the county’s leading conservation charity is delighted to announce that Mayborn Group (Tommee Tippee®) are continuing their long-term partnership with the Trust.

The partnership supports Mayborn’s Planet-care ESG commitments to establish biodiversity plans and deliver a water footprint reduction program.  At Mayborn (Tommee Tippee), they know that helping parents and their families thrive means caring for the planet too.

Mayborn Group’s UK Factory in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire has been partnering with the Trust for over 10 years and have been active in working with the Trust on several initiatives to make the natural world more accessible to young children and their families.

As well as inspiring children to connect with nature the Trust works with Mayborn to connect with their employees to educate and inspire them on ways they can take action for nature. Employees can get involved through Wild Work Days and team building events on the trusts wetland reserves, as well as on their own site, enabling them to connect with and value the benefits that nature can bring to their own wellbeing.

To deliver against their Planet-care targets Mayborn are keen to support the Trusts work on their wetland reserves and to improve biodiversity across their factory and the county. In recognition of this and as part of World Environment Day and 30 Days Wild activities, the team at Mayborn’s Mansfield factory took part in a team-building event to support biodiversity by designing and building a 'bug mansion' on site.

The Mayborn team was joined by NWT at the event who carried out a follow-up visit, providing advice to improve the site for wildlife and measure the impact of Mayborn’s efforts already. This initiative supports Mayborn’s climate action target to implement thriving ecosystems, with regenerated biodiversity, at their manufacturing sites. Mayborn’s UK factory has developed a Biodiversity Action Plan for 2025.

It’s through partnerships like these which enable us to deliver so much across the county for nature.
