About the event

Attenborough Nature Centre will be exhibiting the art of Faye Baines through September

The exhibition is located in the corridor at Attenborough Nature Centre and will be available during standard opening hours. A proportion of all sales will be donated to the Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust.

About the Artist

Faye Baines is a painter based in Nottingham, UK, with 10 years of experience painting treasured places around the UK and further afield.  

She graduated from Exeter University with a BA degree in Art and Education. After many years of work and family commitments, Faye rediscovered her love of painting. From a small start hand-painting cards, she now enjoys creating acrylic paintings in her home studio.  

Faye finds her greatest inspiration in nature and landscapes, and especially enjoys painting coastal scenes, she is at her happiest creating swishy skies and swirly seas. Faye aims to bring her scenes to life using fluid shapes and bold colours. 

Painting means the world to Faye; she appreciates every moment spent at her easel. She hopes her work can bring a little bit of joy to those who see it.
