About the event

Join us to help remove Himalayan balsam at Attenborough Nature Reserve - whether you help out all day or can only spare half an hour, drop in to pull some balsam and prevent its spread on the River Trent.

The Wilder Trent team and our friendly volunteers will be on hand to help guide you, and gloves can be provided, so come along with plenty of water, sturdy footwear and gardening gloves if you have them to help us tackle this pesky invasive plant. 

The team will be waiting to greet you at the information hub in the carpark, and can give you advice and support on pulling the balsam, with our friendly volunteers out and about to direct you on the reserve.
